针对国家防震减灾的重大需求和地球动力学研究需要,中科院测地所开展了中国大陆地壳运动及其动力学机制研究。主要内容包括:基于现代大地测量技术,结合地震等其它观测技术和数值模拟技术,研究中国大陆地壳运动及其动力学机制和地震孕震机理,发展大地测量和地震资料联合反演震源破裂过程技术,探究地震相互作用机制等
关于汶川地震应急响应研究的结果在国家抗震救灾指挥部第十次会议上向温家宝总理作了汇报,为中国地震局震情会商、余震范围圈定和未来震情发展评估提供了重要的参考依据,受到国家领导人和国家抗震救灾指挥部的高度重视。熊熊研究员入选国家科技部—国家减灾委科技抗震救灾专家组,倪四道主任和熊熊研究员入选国家汶川地震专家委员会。熊熊研究员被授予“中国科学院抗震救灾先进个人”荣誉称号。在中国地震局、中国地震学会联合举办的纪念汶川地震一周年的地震预报发展论坛上,许厚泽院士、熊熊研究员和倪四道主任被邀请作大会报告,占大会总共9个特邀报告中的三分之一。这些体现了中科院测地所相关研究工作的影响。
基于以上研究结果,发表学术论文17篇,其中sci论文11篇。同时,培养了一支既能开展创新研究工作,又可执行艰苦野外应急观测任务的年轻团队。2010年4月14号玉树强震发生后,我们不仅在第一时间计算了玉树地震所导致的同震应力变化,圈定4个地震危险区,而且迅即组织地震现场监测队伍,与中国地震局野外队组成联合应急监测队,急赴玉树灾区开展gps和地震监测,野外队克服了重重困难,圆满完成监测任务,取得宝贵的早期余震波形资料,获得“中国科学院青海玉树地震科技救灾先进集体”的光荣称号。
